What does DC stand for in DC shoes?

The DC in DC Shoes originally stood for Droors Clothing, but now is just part of the brand with no ties to the original meaning.

Before the company was DC shoes, they used to be Droors Clothing Footwear. When the company lost its connections with Droors (Droors became defunct when they separated), the company changed their name from Droors Clothing Footwear to DC Shoes.
