How do you reset the car alarm on a Mercedes C180 when the alarm is causing car not to start?

have you tried disconnecting the battery then reconnecting?

HI, according to the owners manual; the alarm system will only allow the vehicle to start if the operator opens the doors with the key. Don't know if this will work though
