Does Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance cover methadone treatment?

I am not exactly sure about Methadone clinics, however, I also have Blue Cross and have not only been on Methadone for chronic pain during the last 6 years. Blue Cross paid for my Dr.'s appt. and paid for my prescriptions every month. A month ago, my doctor retired and I had to find a new Pain management doc to go to who doesn't like giving Methadone to people and instead gave me Subutex and Morphine for the pain. The Subutex is most often given to people addicted to opiates like Methadone and Morphine to help with withdrawals and Blue Cross DID NOT pay for it. They also do not cover Subuxone, FYI. I am unsure exactly which kind of Treatment you are referring to Also, I doubt it makes a difference but I have Open Access BCBS so if they don't cover something, I don't think any other type from BCBS will.
