Where is the MAFS on A mark IV golf?

Assuming you are referring to the Mass Air Flow Sensor it is bolted to the factory air box inline with the intake tube, you will see an electrical connector with several wires coming out of the top. Usually only takes a Philips head screwdriver and a pair of slip joint pliers for the intake tube clamp to replace one.
