Who ended rationing?

Rationing in the United Kingdom effectively ended in the years following World War II, with significant changes occurring in the early 1950s. The Labour government, led by Prime Minister Clement Attlee, began to ease restrictions gradually starting in 1947, but it was the Conservative government under Winston Churchill that officially ended food rationing in 1954.
