Take I-87 NORTH towards ALBANY (becomes the NY STATE THRUWAY (toll)), from New York, to I-90 WEST, where the Thruway continues, and then continue on I-90 THRUWAY (toll) - WEST to I-190 NORTH to Niagara falls, via I-290 NORTH to bypass Buffalo (EXIT 50 off the Thruway to get onto I-290 WEST to NIAGARA FALLS).
