There should be contact information on the billing statement. A phone call is the eaiest way to make initial contact. Some CCC's will work with a consumer to lower interest rates, or allow only interest to be paid for a specified time. If a consumer is trying to settle the account for less then the full amount that is best handled by an attorney. Any agreement should be in writing, with all pertinent information, signed and dated by both parties.
