Are spiders animals

Spiders are animals. Though many people refuse to acknowledge this, spiders are animals. It's also important to know that spiders are not insects. Spiders are arachnids. So are scorpions, mites, ticks, harvestmen, and many others.

Also not every living is an animal. Plants, fungi, protists, and monerans (which bacteria are) are not animals.
