Are cottonmouth water moccasins venomous at Sugar River in Wisconsin?

Water moccasins are a type of venomous snake that is also known as cotton mouths for their white mouths. The scientific name for this type of viper is Agkistrodon piscivorus. They are very common in the southeastern US. They can be confused with the Northern Water snake, which is harmless.
