Joining your
previous organization mainly depends on many factors. It includes
the work culture, relationship with the former colleagues, any old
issues, and the reason to resign from the last company.
The reason to
leave the company is one of the important factors that a person
needs to consider before planning to join the ex-employer. Most of
the time, the common and the professional reason of resigning from
the company is the availability of other career prospects. After
gaining knowledge in other work roles for a couple of years,
chances are that you may get some senior position in your last
organization. In that case, your ex-employer is also willing to
take the advantage of your experience and knowledge gained while
working with some other organization.
The employees
quitting the job to pursue further studies like MBA or other
programs also get readily absorbed by the previous employer.
Appointing an ex-employee is a convenient option for both the
employer and employee as on one hand where the company is aware
about the ex-employee's capabilities, the employee is also aware
about the work culture.
