The study of Commercial geography started after the industrial revolution took place in 18th century.The revolution soo travelled to Europe. The concept and the prcept of revolution evolved, "Hand made to Machine made" . It certainlly advanced the people and the pace of progress.It also give birth to Commerce and Trade.
