Which country is known as the pearl of the gulf?

It is Qatar. A small country in the Persian Gulf. It is known for pearls because the amir's great grandfather uset to Scuba dive for pearls. And that family got wealthy and rich. But now it is known for a lot of oil. It is now the second richest country in the world.
