Why do people act cool?

Well, everyone wants to be perceived as cool in some way. What that means varies from person to person. Some people try to wear the most fashionable clothes or have the coolest devices so that others will perceive them as being, well, cool. The coolest people are usually the people who don't even try but just are naturally stylish and interesting.
