In most States when a couple are getting a divorce each of your lawyers would want you to come to an amicable agreement as far as who keeps the house and the husband paying perhaps spousal support and certainly child support if your children are minors which is under the age of 18. Each case is different. Because of these changes you may have to revise your Will. Once divorced and a settlement is agreed too with your ex wife then you would draw up a revised Will and you do not have to leave anything to your ex wife or children because you have already settled things when applying for a divorce.
