Do protochordata live in colonies

Protochordates, which include groups such as tunicates and lancelets, can exhibit various social behaviors. While some tunicates are known to live in colonies, forming structures with multiple individuals, lancelets typically exist as solitary organisms. Therefore, while some protochordate species do live in colonies, others do not.
