Why do they break the body into sysems when discusing the body?

There are so many different body systems that is it easier to understand and to study if them if the body's anatomy and physiology is broken into pieces. Usually the less complex is studied first. The basic ideas can be a start for the addition of more difficult concepts. You can not build a house from the roof down.
