What happens when you take a photo?

When you take a photo, light from the scene enters the camera through the lens and is focused onto a sensor or film. This light creates a chemical or digital image by capturing the intensity and color of the light in that moment. The camera's settings, like aperture and shutter speed, determine how much light is captured and for how long. Once the exposure is made, the image is processed, resulting in a photograph.
