What is the difference between super single sized bed and single sized bed?

A regular single-sized bed (also referred to as a twin) is typically 39 x 75 inches. A super single is 48 x 84 inches. Note: These are dimensions of the mattresses themselves. The corresponding bed frames will be a little larger to accomodate and support the mattress.
