How can gender affect a persons self-awareness?

Boys tend to be more unaware of what's going on because they are too focused on "being a man". The way they walk, talk, behave is all based on gender stereotypes. Most boys are more focused on how they appear as a "guy" than what they think and feel.

Girls, however, almost tend to overthink situations. They are more self-aware for certain situations, but not all.
