What is Appendix B fitted Bulk carrier?

It is a vessel which has an "Appendix B' certificate, issued by the class of the vessel and therefore is allowed to carry Group B cargoes as classified in the INTERNATIONAL MARITIME SOLID BULK CARGOES (IMSBC) CODE.

(Group B consists of cargoes which possess a chemical hazard which could give rise to a dangerous situation on a ship)
