Rosa Gumataotao RiOS is the Treasurer of the United States. She took office on August 6, 2009. President Harry S. Truman appointed Georgia Neese Clark Treasurer in 1949, and every Treasurer since that time has been a woman. Six of the past ten treasurers have been Hispanic.
