Why is the study of religion philosophy important?

u do that because its the way to life..just as The Bible pointed it out

While the bible is a recognised religious text it is only read and belived by less than half of the world's people.

Religion and philosophy are important because they help people work out the meaning of their life in a way that means somthing to them.

Many people are scared of dying for example because they do not know what will happen to them after death. To help this people will guess and make up nice stories that make people feel better. That is religion.
