Why are there fighter jets flying over Plano at low altitude and nearly 450 Knots in a residential area?

To add a little excitement to an otherwise boring day!!! I saw them fly over a few minutes ago - 4 of them side-by-side coming from the southeast and flying toward the northwest over Spring Creek Pkwy @ Tollway area...wonder what they're up to???
