chess and checkers are ok but theres many other games like

Foxes and hounds

in this game there is one fox which can move like a king and four hounds which move like a normal checker piece the object is for the player thats the hound to get to the opponets side and the houds to try to stop it

Suicide checkers

in this game you try to kill all your pieces first

Chinese Checkers

turn the board so one corner is facing you and that the corner has a black sqaure you put all your peices on the other black squares so there an x pattren the object is to get your pieces to the other side first if you jump over your opponents piece nothing happens
