What is long term development in CAFOD?

Long term development is an investment made by the countries helping Cafod to help the needy and the poor. If a country invest in a poor country and the poor country can now start to buy machinery stuffs to build their country and the country who help the poor country can now sell the equipment to them again and then they make profit from what they gave to the country.
