How do you pass Canadian immigration interview?

Note: Just because you have been called to an interview does not mean that there is a problem with your application. Citizenship and Immigration Canada has a mandate to interview at rendom for security purposes.

You 'pass' the Canadian Immigration Interview by answering all of your questions honestly.

The key is consistancy. Know what you have listed as your personal and employment histories, as well as your family members, where you will be landing in Canada and why on your application. Ensure that your responses to questions are accurate to what you have indicated on the application, and if they have changed, that you have a substantial reason for why they have changed. If you have completed your application honestly, this should not be a problem.

Also, make sure that you have been working on your English and/or french language skills so that you can answer the officiers questions quickly, competantly, and articulately.

Finally, be curteous and considerate to the officier. Being rude or confrontational will not help.
