Are aliens connected to illuminati

The view that aliens are connected to the Illuminati* is one that is often posited by Christians who do not believe that Yahweh created any intelligent life besides humanity in the universe. They claim that aliens are demons, and part of a massive plot to lead Christians away from Christianity and into some kind of new age alien cult. There are many similar lines of speculation. However, there is no evidence for this. It is only speculation, but some have convinced themselves that it's the truth.

*The Illuminati was a group that was founded in 1776 in upper Bavaria. Their purpose ...was to attain the highest possible degree of morality and virtue... Their ideals were based on rationality and free thought. Since the religious government felt that this was a threat, they quickly forced the group to disband. However, many people believe that the Illuminati continued to operate in secret and are trying to rule the world. Many different people have many different beliefs of just who and what the Illuminati are. Those who believe they're the bad guys tend to believe that whoever they personally don't like are associated with them. For example, non-Catholic conspiracy theorists often claim Catholics are secretly run by the Illuminati, whereas Catholic conspiracy theorists claim that the Illuminati is trying to destroy Catholicism.
