There used to be a department by me in the 80's that drove the Pugeot. I'm pretty sure that they don't drive them anymore. Northern Illinois University has a Toyota Prius (how embarrassing) and there are plenty of departments that use foreign motorcycles such as the BMW.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol is now using a few Suzuki GSX-R1300 'Busas as police motorcycles too.
