The Senate of Tennessee is the upper chamber of the Tennessee General Assembly, which is the state legislature of Tennessee. It consists of 33 members who are elected to four-year terms. The Senate is responsible for passing laws, confirming appointments made by the governor, and representing the interests of their constituents.
