The term 'the media' is very broad, which leaves the answer to this question very open to interpretation. It is also unclear whether you mean a stereotype of someone who works in an area of 'the media', or a stereotype often featured in a form of media.
A good example of a media stereotype would be - a young, clean cut, female reporter who will do whatever it takes to get her first 'big scoop'. This stereotype fits either criteria, as such a character has often featured in books, TV shows or films, but could equally be a real-life person working in the media.
