Why is the CBD found at the center of the city?

I think the CBD is found at the center of the city is because usually the nosiest things always happen at the center of cities. The CBD is the noisiest as the factories, shops and population cause the noise. If you look at the outer suburbs, it is usually the quietest as there is no factories and not that many shops or population.
