Can the homeless receive food stamps and social security do they have to have an address?

if you go into either the social services office or social security office and tell them your homeless and want foodstamps/ benefits, they will find you housing. immediately. if you for whatever reason are ok with being homeless i don't think you can get either one. you'll have to stick to going to food pantries in local churches and things like that.
