When did the Wright brothers build an airplane?

The first successful flight of a self-powered airplane was December 14, 1903. But they flew unmanned gliders as early as 1902. The Wright Bos built airplanes until 1912 (Wilbur died in a plane crash), but the Wright Bros. airplane company built airplanes for decades.
