What is a nasaloscopy?

I recently had one- the doctor puts a small camera up your nose to examine the stuff up there. The instrument is about a wide as a drinking straw & they put a numbing liquid up there first. The procedure does not take long. While it is pretty unpleasant, it is not really painful. The nummy stuff tastes nasty & the taste lingers for a few hours. I would imagine they sedate kids for it.
