Can afrin and nasonex be taken together?

Yes. My doctor recommended it when I had severe congestion. I was told to flush out my sinuses first with a saline spray and then use affrin and nasonex. The doctor instructed me to only use the affrin for 2 days or prolonged use could make the systems worse.
