How do you convince your girlfriend not to leave the country?

For whatever reason she is leaving and if your not able to go with her or she may not want you to its best to respect that and keep in touch. Unfortunately when someone has to leave there isn't much you can do or say to convince her to stay. All you can do is tell her how you feel and instead of wasting the remaining time you have together being down and begging her make it memorable, happy and wish her well - the memories of leaving on a good note will stay with her rather than negative ones. I realize you may be hurting but the positive end would be in both your best interest.
