What is the conservation status for a hippo?

There are two species of hippopotamus that exist today. These are the regular hippo and the pygmy hippo. The regular hippo's conservation status is Vulnerable. The pygmy hippo is Endangered. Luckily, pygmy hippos breed well in captivity.
