Is orientedness a word

Not yet, perhaps, but it looks like a good coinage meaning "quality of remaining pointed in one direction." E.g. "It is the orientedness of magnets that make them suitable for making compasses." It could also be used figuratively. "We give this award to Mr. James Robinson for his outstanding orientedness in never resting from pursuing his goal for the last thirty years."
