Yes. Microsoft Corporation joined a 1st Circuit Court of Appeals amicus brief asserting that the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act is unconstitutional and should be repealed.

Companies are corporate bodies, the support of the board of directors, for political and financial reasons do not represent the vast majority of the employees of those companies. Nor were they asked.

It would be better for any cause to have the backing of one staunch and true supporter than all the manufacturing and financial institutions existing. Who do so for their own ends and not from any honest belief.
