Can you tell me how to find the adjustment screw on a diesel pump on a 1991 Mitsubishi pajero?

its at the back of the pump under some electric wires, very awkward to adjust. BUT before you do make sure your intercooler is cleaned out(restricts air to engine causing black smoke. Also check your linkages are not worn and slopy, if they are it wont kick up and down properly
