What does early childhood education refer to?

Early childhood education refers to programs that are available to children and their families for the years before kindergarten. Preschool and its governmental entity, Headstart, help children whose parents do not have the resources to expose their children to group sociability, letters and numbers, as well as fine and gross motor skills (ie. using scissors, pedaling, left and right, writing). Early childhood education may also help parents start their children in speech or other special needs classes, which is an advantage.
