My 1993 Pontiac grand am acts like it wants to go when i press the gas but also it almost dies this happens a few times while my foot is still on the gas then the car finally dies what's wrong?

There are many possibilities that could explain this senario. Intially you should make sure that your car has warmed up for atleast five to ten minutes. Pontiacs themselves are notorious for vacuum line problems. To no surprise in the recent recession Pontiac fell through. From here you should consult a friend or technician in regards to your fuel filter and or anything else with your fuel system. Before you do this you should use some lucas fuel treatment which will clean your fuel injectors and other important parts of your fuel system.
