What are lady bugs useful for?

Ladybugs like to eat tiny insects that do damage to plants, especially roses and maple trees. So ladybugs are extremely useful to help plants grow healthy. Many people with orchards, or just a lot of plants around their homes will buy boxes of live ladybugs to release on their property.

Because of the ladybugs' efficiency in cleaning out plant-eating insects, a grower or orchardist can earn more money when she sells her crops.
