Why do people like spanking?

People spank their children because of their behavior. Some parents do it for controll, and to feel that they made their child learn their lesson. There is a major difference between abuse and spanking though. spanking should only be done on the butt; it can be on the clothed or bare. They can spank with anything from their hand to a wooden spoon.
Mainly because they have done something naughty. A child may have wet the bed or done a bad thing at school or home and as a result the parents (or parent) spanks their child so in the hope that because it hurts them then they will not do it again.

Except that you never punish a child for wetting the bed. That will make it worse since this is usually something they can not help doing.
