What is Chirospasm?

Chirospasm, often referred to as "writer's cramp," is a condition characterized by involuntary muscle contractions or spasms in the hand, particularly during activities like writing. This neurological disorder can lead to discomfort, pain, and difficulty in performing tasks that require fine motor skills. It may be triggered by repetitive hand movements or prolonged use of the hand, and treatment often involves physical therapy, relaxation techniques, or, in some cases, botulinum toxin injections.
