What is the difference between a Poodle and a Golden Retriever?

Poodles are small and very loud and loving animals. While Golden Retrievers are larger dogs who are actice and also loving animals. I would choose a Golden Retriever any day but they do shed their fur quite alot....

You got it right on the shedding part(I would know. I have one.) , but golden retrievers need a bath more frequently than a poodle. But poodles also need to be combed ad brushed more.
