Do rich people deserve to have so much money?

In fact the rich no not really know anymore why they became rich than the poor know why they remain poor. The roots are deep. No two people start out in the rat race at the same point. Some have luckily advantages other do not. Then there's genetics.. some are cunning some are not. Not intelligent but cunning.

Nice guys finish last. You need to be willing to take chances..to risk everything.

And lastly society illuminates the few lucky who have made it and ignores the vast majority who have tried but failed.. All in all the system is unfair and injust.

If they came by their money and or riches by legitimate or legal means then they are certainly deserving and entitled to be rich irrespective of whether they choose to use it for charitable means. More power to them and please drop me a tip! he he.

One could just as easily ask the same question in the form of "Do people deserve to get rich". and again the answer is yes, so long as it is done by legitmate legal means one should certainly have the right to reap the rewards of their labor and industry.

There is not and should not be a requirement that rich people use their money for charity or distribute it for the benefit of mankind. That is the personal choice of every individual one of us rich and poor.

When people are working at getting rich one would think the usual primary goal common to all people is to provide financial security for ones self, our family and others we hold dear.

Although some may have preconceptions, one would commonly expect it is after people amassed their riches that they may realize they now have the means and potential, and then be inspired to help others.

So I vote "Yes" to more rich people with money.

Whether rich people deserve to have so much money is a difficult question because it depends on other things:

What do you define as deserving, or what is fair?

What do you define as rich?

Does how they got to be rich matter?

One common assumption is:

If you have worked for something, you deserve to benefit from it.

Another is:

If you own something, you have the right to use it as you see fit.

Most societies and philosophies agree with this, but take slightly different stances on to what degree you have to consider other people and the environment.

We often don't even realise the stance our society has, because it is something we have grown up with and see as normal.

It depends what they do with heir money. If they donate it to charity, or they use it on themselves. It also depends on how they got it. Did they get it from helping man kind, or did they steal it? If they are using it to help mankind or the world then yes, they do.

Well, what if your enemy was a lazy bum all his life and never worked once. Anyway, the government takes all your money and gives a thousand to all the poor people in the USA and gives you ten thousand back. How would you like THAT?
