How long does it take to fly from NYC to San Antonio Texas?

It depends quite a bit on who you fly with.
Most of the time you will have to go to another city and catch a connecting flight, depending on who you are with this could be in Detroit or it could be in Houston.

Long story short allow 6 to 8 hours for travel give or take 20 minutes if traveling with a commercial carrier.

Alternatively if traveling on something like a private jet, I am thinking a lear 45 or a Gulfstream G150 you could cover the distance in about 3 hours or so on a good day.


In a smaller plane like a Cessna Skylane 182 it would probably take about half a day or more depending on fuel stops and conditions.
