Why does not a fast moving stream reproduces?

Fast-moving streams do not provide a stable environment for fish eggs or young fish to develop. The turbulent water can wash away eggs and disturb the development of the fry. Additionally, fast currents in streams make it challenging for adult fish to find suitable spawning areas.
