How was Steve Irwin as a child?

Steve Irwin was as passionate about animals as a child, as he was when an adult. For his sixth birthday, young Steve received his greatest wish - his very own 3.6m long scrub python for a pet. He grew up learning how to catch and care for crocodiles.
